What goes wrong, and how to avoid it

Dry scraping glass

Will one clean be enough?

Rarely, for anything larger than a single room. Fine dust continues settling for days, which is the whole reason for the final buff.

Do you clean the windows outside?

Ask for it specifically and we will price it. It is one of the most common gaps between quotes, so it is worth pinning down.

Can I move furniture in before the final buff?

Better not to. Furniture arriving before the last stage means dust settles on and behind it, and we end up cleaning around obstacles.

Is it the same as a deep clean?

No. A deep clean addresses accumulated household soil. A builders clean addresses construction residue, needs HEPA or M class extraction, and is priced differently.

Is it safe for us to be in the property?

Keep children and anyone with a respiratory condition out until the work is finished. We use FFP3 respirators and HEPA extraction rather than sweeping, which puts dust straight back into the air.
